SteaksItalian Style Porter House Steak

Ingredients:
- 2 porter house steaks
- 2 cans skinless tomatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup ice water
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 2 tsp Italian dressing

Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and brown the porter house steak on all sides.  Remove the porter house steaks and set them aside.  Add to the skillet, the cold water and cornstarch.  Continue to add the tomatoes, onion, garlic and Italian dressing to the skillet.  Continue to simmer until thickened and add the porter house steak.  Cook the porter house steak for 3-5 minutes and serve immediately.

SteaksBroiled Porterhouse Steak with Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:
- 2 Porterhouse steaks
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1 package french fried onions
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Preheat the oven to broil.  In a small mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and egg until smooth.  Season the porterhouse steak with salt and pepper and place them into the oven to broil for 3-5 minutes.  Turn the porterhouse steaks over and continue to broil them for another 2-4 minutes. Pull the broiled porterhouse steak out and using a pastry tube, create a mashed potato border on the steak.  Place some french fried onions in the center of the broiled porterhouse steak and place them back into the oven for 2-3 minutes.

SteaksBroil Porterhouse Steak with Mustard

Ingredients:
- 2 Porterhouse steaks
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup olive oil

Directions:
Broil porterhouse steak by preheating the oven to broil.  In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, mustard, salt, pepper, onion and olive oil.  Spread the mustard mixture over each porter house steak.  Put the seasoned porterhouse steaks on the broiler pan and into the oven for 5-7 minutes per side.

SteaksMushroom Stuffed Beef Porterhouse Steak

Ingredients:
- 2 beef porterhouse steak
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp red wine
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 mushrooms sliced

Directions:
Preheat the grill to medium high heat.  Cut a pocket into the beef porterhouse steak.  In a small skillet heat the butter and saute the onion, garlic and mushrooms.  Stuff the onion, garlic and mushroom mixture into the beef porterhouse steak pockets and use skewers to close them.  Sprinkle each beef porterhouse steak with salt and pepper and rub the steaks with red wine and soy sauce.  Grill the beef porterhouse steaks for 3-5 minutes per side.
