Ingredients:
- 2 Porterhouse steaks
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1 package french fried onions
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Preheat the oven to broil.  In a small mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and egg until smooth.  Season the porterhouse steak with salt and pepper and place them into the oven to broil for 3-5 minutes.

Turn the porterhouse steaks over and continue to broil them for another 2-4 minutes. Pull the broiled porterhouse steak out and using a pastry tube, create a mashed potato border on the steak.

Place some french fried onions in the center of the broiled porterhouse steak and place them back into the oven for 2-3 minutes.
